Robert Plant is pictured here wearing a pair of tan Nubuck leather jeans I made for him. It all started in 1972 when I used to fix his blue jeans. He was a customer during the Zep years and during the Plant/Page 'No Quater' times, I made him several pairs of black leather jeans.

In March 2006 I was asked by David Gilmour to make a guitar strap for his friend Phil Manzenera. I delivered the strap to David at The Mermaid Theatre where he was performing for Radio 2 featuring music from "On An Island". It was Davids birthday and that day he had been presented with the famous original Jimi Hendrix guitar strap ! The strap required some restoration work which I later carried out for him. David subsequently commissioned me to make several other leather guitar straps like the one you can see in the picture.

In the mid to late 90's I was asked to make some leather guitar straps for AC/DC. Here you can see Angus Young wearing one of them. The strap was made of two layers of leather with padding in between, a transmiter pocket down the bottom back and velcro leather tabs running back up for the aerial wire. More than twentyfive of the same straps went out to AC/DC.

In the early seventies I became a neighbour and freind of Black Sabbath's bass player Geezer Butler. During that time my partner and I made him a considerable amount of stage gear, and not always from leather. In the picture you can see him wearing a pair trousers that was made for just one of the many tours that the band embarked upon. One memorable item was a pair of real python skin trousers. We had many good times together, a lovely guy.

During the mid to late 80's I made a considerable amount of leather stage gear for Gary Numan. I first met Gary when he flew himself and the band up to a small airfeild near to my home. I picked them up and took them back to my workshop where they were measured up for the "Warriers" tour. That was the start of many a panic to get things made in time for new concert tours. The picture features Gary in the white leather, jacket and trousers made for the "Berserker" tour.

Bootsy Collins, king of funk. The greatest exponent of funk bass of all time. This is a photo of Bootsy Collins and myself at the Frankfurt Musikmesse 2011. Bootsy was thrilled when I presented him with one of my RN series leather guitar straps. An all time hero of mine and what a lovely guy.

Mick Ralphs from Bad Company and Mott The Hoople. Mick wrote some of the greatest rock tunes ever, including 'Can't Get Enough' and many more. An old friend of many years and looked after by my brother, guitar and back line tech, Sid Pryce through out The Bad Company years. Now using some of my guitar straps, here is a photo of myself and Mick at a recent showing of the new Mott The Hoople movie.
