Jeff Beck
jeff_beck_01_copy.jpg In February 2010 I was asked to make some guitar straps for Jeff Beck. Their first outing was for the O2 shows in London where Jeff was performing with Eric Clapton. This is one of the straps that you can see in the picture.

Robert Plant

robert_plant.jpgRobert Plant is pictured here wearing a pair of tan Nubuck leather jeans I made for him. It all started in 1972 when I used to fix his blue jeans. He was a customer during the Zep years and during the Plant/Page 'No Quater' times, I made him several pairs of black leather jeans.

David Gilmour

brown.jpgIn March 2006 I was asked by David Gilmour to make a guitar strap for his  friend Phil Manzenera. I delivered the strap to David at The Mermaid Theatre where he was performing for Radio 2 featuring music from "On An Island". It was Davids birthday and that day he had been presented with the famous original Jimi Hendrix guitar strap ! The strap required some restoration work which I later carried out for him. David subsequently commissioned me to make several other leather guitar straps like the one you can see in the picture.

Pete Overend Watts
pete_overend_watts_mott_the_hoople.jpgIn October 2009 I made this guitar strap for Pete Overend Watts, bass player from Mott The Hoople. Pete used the strap during the band's reunion  shows at Hammersmith Apollo, London.pete_overend_watts.jpg  me_and_pete_watts.jpg                                                                    Me and Pete

AC/DC
angus9b.jpgIn the mid to late 90's I was asked to make some leather guitar straps for AC/DC. Here you can see Angus Young wearing one of them. The strap was made of two layers of leather with padding in between, a transmiter pocket down the bottom back and velcro leather tabs running back up for the aerial wire. More than twentyfive of the same straps went out to AC/DC. angus_back.jpg

Guy Pratt

guy_pratt.jpgGuy Pratt, one of the worlds finest bass players.

Here you can see Guy wearing one of the rollneck leather guitar straps that I made for him. Five others followed in different colours and inlays.

Gary Numan
berzerker.jpgDuring the mid to late 80's I made a considerable amount of leather stage gear for Gary Numan. I first met Gary when he flew himself and the band up to a small airfeild near to my home.  I picked them up and took them back to my workshop where they were measured  up for the "Warriers" tour. That was the start of many a panic to get things made in time for new concert tours. The picture features Gary in the white leather, jacket and trousers made for the "Berserker" tour.

Geezer Butler
geezer.jpgIn the early seventies I became a neighbour and freind of Black Sabbath's bass player Geezer Butler. During that time my partner and I made him a considerable amount of stage gear, and not always from leather. In the picture you can see him wearing a pair trousers that was made for just one of the many tours that the band embarked upon. One memorable item was  a pair of real python skin trousers. We had many good times together, a lovely guy.

Bob Daisley

bob_daisley_006.jpgBob Daisley, bass player for Ozzy Osbourne, Rainbow, Gary More....and many others. I first met Bob in 72 when he came over to the UK and joined blues outfit Chicken Shack. In later years when Bob joined Ozzy, he introduced  me to his band mate, guitarist Randy Rhoads. In the photo you can see Bob with one of my copies of the Pythonskin guitar strap that the late Randy Rhoads used.
